Education activities

Promoting the need for saving of the Egyptian vulture is a very important activity, the effect of which is expected to show more clearly in the long term. Target groups who are very important for the conservation of vultures are livestock-breeders, hunters, people working for the forest departments, students and all the local people, living in the breeding range of the Egyptian Vulture. The most common activity is distribution of information materials, promoting the message for  conservation of the threatened species. We have issued more than 10 different information materials with the face of the Egyptian vulture amongst which a book for the vultures, posters, calendars, stickers, fliers. We have published 13 articles for the Egyptian Vulture in different magazines : “For the birds”, “GEO”, “Hunt and weapon”, “BBC knowledge”, “NG kids”, “Mogy – the green monkey”. Most of these articles can be found in the section “Documents” of the site. Around 10 reportages have been broadcasted on national TVs. Articles in newspapers and internet sites are hundreds. We have organized many lectures in schools, universities and kinder gardens.
